2025 Trends - Not what you think! embrace what you love
2025 will see a shift in our styling, uses and choices. There are always new design trends, more availability or pushed availability to certain colours, items and styles. But in 2025 there are a few interesting trends I want you to follow! Never thought I’d say those words.
Trending elements rather than items or specific styles.
Creating a welcoming environment - we want to entertain. we want our family and friends in our home and we want them to feel welcome and cosy.
We want our spaces to flow and function better. We are understanding how we actually live in spaces and need them to work.
An appreciation for investment furniture, art and pieces that are meaningful, embracing local designers, makers, and artists is a great way to also support your community. I love this one!
Going along to your local markets or following someone's journey on Instagram and supporting them by purchasing something is going to be incredibly important.
Investment furniture now this is an important part as we are so switched on to being more sustainable, we want to do more for our environment and by upcycling solid wood pieces or purchasing with the long term in mind is at the top of our list and it's a “trend”.Individualism, creating a unique space, this one needs a HUGE round of applause. Creating a space that you truly love and isn’t like anything you've seen in a magazine is so special and a 2025 trend.
Design elements and understanding them is also a trend for 2025. Learning how to layer in texture and why is so important and helps you to create a unique and authentic home or space.
We still want to experiment with colour and interchangeable pieces so we don’t feel like they are too permanent. But this is still a win for being adventurous.
